Overview
Keeping your stove or insert safe
Stoves and inserts often burn at lower temperatures than open fireplaces, which can mean faster creosote buildup. Regular cleaning of the stovepipe and liner is essential.
If you are adding an insert or stove to an existing fireplace, the venting usually needs to be updated with a properly sized liner. We inspect the chimney, clean the system, and handle relining so your appliance vents correctly.

Wood Stove & Fireplace Services FAQ
How often should a wood stove chimney be cleaned?
Stove flues should be checked at least annually and cleaned whenever buildup reaches the NFPA 211 threshold. Heavy users may need more than one cleaning per season.
