Overview
Partial vs. full rebuilds
Most rebuilds involve the part of the chimney above the roofline, which takes the most weather. We take the chimney down to sound masonry and rebuild it with new brick and mortar, a new crown, and proper flashing.
When damage extends further down, a larger rebuild may be needed. We explain exactly how much work is required and why before anything is taken apart.

Signs a rebuild may be needed
- A chimney that is visibly leaning or separating from the house
- Loose bricks that can be moved by hand
- Widespread spalling and crumbling mortar
- Repeated repairs that haven't stopped leaks
How a rebuild works

- 02

We carefully remove damaged brick down to that point.
- 03
Rebuild
We relay brick, build a new crown, and restore flashing.
- 04
Protect
We cap the flue and recommend waterproofing.
Chimney Rebuilds FAQ
Can you match my existing brick?
We aim to match as closely as practical in color, size, and texture. Exact matches aren't always possible with older brick, and we'll discuss options before work begins.
